Pricing that makes sense
Two simple ways to pay for card payments. We help you choose how you are charged, with same-day settlement at no extra cost and no lock-in contracts.
We work alongside you to find the setup that fits your business, not the one that suits us.
Blended rate
One predictable rate across all cards, Amex included. You always know what you are going to pay, no matter how your customers tap.
- Same rate for every card
- Easy to budget and reconcile
- Great if you take a lot of credit and Amex
Interchange ++ (IC++)
You pay the true cost of each card, plus a small fixed acquirer markup. Often the cheapest option when a lot of your sales are debit or eftpos.
- Fully transparent, line by line
- Low-cost debit and eftpos passed straight on
- Great for high-volume, debit-heavy businesses
What is interchange ++?
If you have not come across it before, it is simpler than it sounds. It applies to every terminal we supply, and you can browse the hardware here. Every card payment has three parts.
Interchange + Scheme fees + Acquirer markup
Interchange
Set by the card networks and paid to the bank that issued the card. Debit and eftpos interchange is very low. Premium credit cards cost more.
Scheme fees
Charged by Visa, Mastercard, Amex and eftpos for using their network.
Acquirer markup
Our margin for processing your payments, support and service. On IC++ it is a fixed markup, shown clearly on your statement.
With IC++, you see each part on your statement. If your customers mostly pay by debit or eftpos, it usually comes in cheaper than a blended rate.
Which suits your business?
Debit and eftpos mix
If a lot of your sales are debit or eftpos, interchange ++ often comes in cheaper because you only pay the true cost of each card plus a small markup.
Certainty, premium and Amex
If you want one predictable figure, or take a lot of premium credit and Amex, a blended rate can suit better. Amex is included in the one rate.
If you're comfortable, you can also send through a recent statement and I'll put together a side-by-side comparison, no obligation.
